Functions of rooms in a home - 1

In designing a house, the purpose of each room must be considered. A room serving mixed purposes usually confused buyers. Giving clear purposes to rooms makes the property appealing to prospective home buyers and owners.

For examples: a living room or family room must be well distinguished from a dinning space. A room for relaxing should look different from one for studying.

What are the functions of each room?

Bedroom

A bedroom is for sleeping. It is also a room you can relax to read books before bed.
Because a bedroom is for restful time after the stress of the day it must not serve any other purpose which can cause sleeplessness.

Kitchen

Kitchen is the room in a house where meals are prepared, cooked and sometimes eaten. It is also considered as a common room where friends  and family gather to not only share meals but also share laughs and stories. So a kitchen should not be turned to a library or an office. It must serve it's purpose in order to function well.
